3 Muhammad Ali’s Inspirational Quotes

1. You Will Be Tested by Adversity

I hated every minute of training, but I said ‘don’t quit! suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion’.

Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali was probably the most talented boxer of all time, along with Floyd Mayweather. And as I said in the previous article about discovering a talent. Your talent is your strength as an individual, that strength will make you stand out from most people.

But like Ali said, he was tested by day-to-day boxing drilling he had to go through. So even though you work on your natural talent. You will still be tested by adversity. And the only way to solve that adversity is to deal with it. You have to show up everyday because it is just part of the process. The faster you realize this, the faster you go through that adversity.

2. Do What You Love and Love What You Do

Don’t count the days, make the days count

Muhammad Ali

Yes. Live up your passion and vision. When you do something that you love and resonate to you, you are not too concerned to watch the clock doing it.

I remember some courses that I hated very much in college. I remember I committed to myself that I have to to get an A on that course because the course is cool and hard for me. See how amateur I was at the time. I tried to dedicate at least 45 minutes of my time reading the books on that course. And I felt how 15 minutes was like hours to me. All I did was watching the clock every time I finish every page. It is just a mind torture. The time dragged by and my mind was very exhausting after that 30-45 minutes of reading. And I didn’t get an A on those course.

That is why you have to do what you love and love what you do. Of course you will still get adversity on doing that. But the adversity is not going to offset the excitement, passion, and the vision that you got.

3. Believe in Yourself

What you’re thinking is what you’re becoming.

Muhammad Ali

How boring this quote has become? everybody say it already, you see it all over social media, we all know it.

Muhammad Ali always in a positive state every damn day. He didn’t allow negative people or any negative things influence him. He keep moving towards the vision that he had.

You can be mopping the floor or flipping the burger at Mc. Donalds to make a living, nobody gives a shit. What matters is that you keep your vision alive and work towards it to the best of your ability.

Peace.
